The honey oak problem
Stone Oak filled in through the late nineties and the two thousands, and the kitchens run to a pattern. Honey oak, raised panel, an arch across the top of every door, with a matching set in all three bathrooms. The boxes behind those doors are frequently sound. It is the doors and that orange finish doing all the aging.
Which is why this is our busiest area for refacing and painting. Boxes stay where they are, doors and hardware change, and a kitchen that read 2003 reads current instead. When somebody wants the island moved or a wall of pantry where the desk nook sits, we build new, and we will say which of the two your kitchen actually needs.
Tall rooms, and the HOA question
Houses up here have height. Two story entries, ten foot ceilings downstairs, and a family room open to the kitchen so the cabinets are visible from half the house. Uppers that stop at eight feet in a ten foot room look unfinished from the couch, so we stack a second row or run a taller crown to close the gap honestly.
People ask about the HOA constantly, and for interior work it has no say. What actually sets your schedule is the lead time, four to six weeks from approved drawings for a custom set. If your neighborhood gate wants us on a vendor list, mention it at the design visit and we will get on it before install week.
